Investor Relations & Analyst Associations Throw Support Behind 2005 IR Websites Global Rankings & Awards

BROOKFIELD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 20, 2004--MZ Consult, a leading investor relations and financial services consulting firm, announced today that it is gearing up for its 7th Annual IR Websites and Online Annual Reports Global Rankings & Awards as investor relations and analyst associations in the Americas, Europe and Asia throw their support behind the event. MZ Consult expects the 2005 Awards to be the biggest to date, and contenders should start readying themselves for tough competition as registration begins this October. Event sponsors include JP Morgan, KPMG and Linklaters.
Investor relations and analysts associations already supporting the event in the interest of "promoting better investor communications and corporate governance" include: Asia's Investor Relations Association (IRAA) -- operating in Hong Kong and Singapore, the German Investor Relations Association (DIRK), the Spanish Investor Relations Association (AERI), the Mexican Investor Relations Association (AMERI) and Brazil's Investment Analysts and Capital Markets Professionals Association (APIMEC), and other similar endorsements can be anticipated.

More than 260 companies from 33 countries competed in the 2004 Awards, with Bayer taking top rank across a wide range of industries.
