WebSideStory Names CFO and Two New Directors
(SAN DIEGO, CA May 10, 2004) WebSideStory, a leading provider of on-demand Web analytics, today announced the appointment of a chief financial officer and the addition of two new board members.
Thomas Willardson, with nearly 30 years of experience as a finance professional, will become the companys CFO. Willardson was the senior financial officer for Leap Wireless, a telecommunications company that was spun off from Qualcomm. At Leap, Willardson spearheaded a drive to raise more than $3 billion in capital, including a $350-million initial public offering. Willardson has also served as chief financial officer at the Archimedes Technology Group, a San Diego plasma physics company. For more than 13 years, he worked at the Bechtel Group, where his experience included private equity investing and arranging non-recourse debt. Prior to that, he spent eight years at Fluor-Daniel, conducting economic feasibility studies and arranging project financing for Fluors clients. Since 1991, Willardson has been a director at Cost Plus World Market (NASDAQ: CPWM), a specialty home furnishings retailer, and he is currently chairman of that companys audit committee. Willardson received his undergraduate degree in finance from Brigham Young University and an MBA in finance from the University of Southern California.

WebSideStory also announced the appointment of two new board members: James S. Mahan III and James R. Glynn.
Mahan is the founder and chairman of S1 Corp. (NASDAQ: SONE), a leading provider of ASP-based front-office applications for financial institutions, and the founder of Security First Network Bank, the worlds first Internet bank. Prior to that, he served as chairman and CEO of Cardinal Bancshares, a bank holding company.
Glynn has been a longtime executive in the biotechnology industry. He most recently held several executive positions at Invitrogen (NASDAQ: IVGN), a San Diego biotechnology company, including president, interim CEO, CFO and executive vice president. He is currently a board member at Invitrogen. Prior to that, Glynn held executive posts at Matrix Pharmaceuticals and Mycogen Corp.
