Robert Machinist Joins Traffix's Board of Directors
PEARL RIVER, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 11, 2004--Traffix, Inc. (NASDAQ:TRFX), announced today that Robert B. Machinist, Chairman and Managing Partner of Munn Bernhard Associates, and Managing Partner of M Capital, LLC, has been named as a member of its Board of Directors.
From January 1986 through November 1998, Mr. Machinist was president and one of the principal founders of Patricof & Co. Capital Corp. Under his leadership, Patricof & Co. developed from its diversified venture capital and investment banking operations to a multinational investment banking business. After engineering the sale of Patricof & Co. Capital Corp. to the Bank of New York, Mr. Machinist took on the role of managing partner and head of investment banking for the Bank of New York and its Capital Markets division. There he was responsible for mergers and acquisitions as well as private placement activities for the bank. Mr. Machinist is currently a Managing Partner of M Capital LLC, a private equity investment firm in Rye, New York while also running a private family investment firm.
