Mozilla Announces Winners of "Extend Firefox" Competition
Contest generates over 200 new extensions for the award winning
browser
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - March 1, 2006 - Mozilla Corp. today
announced the winners of its Extend Firefox Contest. These add-ons
boost Firefox's functionality and provide users with a range of new
customization options.
Mozilla launched the contest to encourage a new wave of extension
development for the browser and showcase the talents of extension
authors for Firefox. A panel of renowned judges picked the winners
from more than 200 submissions received at the Mozilla Developer
Center Web site. The winning add-ons bring new capabilities to
Firefox 1.5 and also include several strong updates to popular
Firefox 1.0 extensions. Winning extensions are available for
