County Awards $4.6M To Buy Open Space

American Equity Investment -- Southampton: $595,000 to buy five properties totaling 330 acres along Red Lion Road and the west side of Rancocas Creek.

Equity Index Funds -- Springfield: $900,000 to buy 250 acres, a total of five parcels, in the area of Arney's Mount.

Equity Private Team Wyoming Also receiving funds are Evesham, $400,000; Maple Shade, $125,000; Medford, $400,000; Moorestown, $400,000; Mount Laurel, $400,000; and Palmyra, $80,000, officials said.

Equity Group Investment The Cedar Run Conservancy will receive $210,000 to buy and preserve 97 acres in four parcels on the southern end of the Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge.

Capital Development Equity More than 1,000 acres have been preserved by municipalities using County Land Grant Awards and another 1,000 acres are being processed by officials.
